The wifi is not working in the hotel. You can only get the service in the place where is located the reception which is 300m far from the hotel.

I liked the location, house itself, quietness of the area. Santillana is not very big but it doesn't take long to go down to the Plaza Mayor, street goes straight. bed is comfortable, room is very spacious and whirlpool bath works quite well.
We didn't have breakfast because it cost 12 euros. Excessive. The room they gave us smelled awful of tobacco and that makes it clear that it is forbidden. It's not their business but the customers'. I communicated it and they changed our room, thank goodness it was free because the smell was unbearable. I think they already knew I smelled like that because without asking for the change, they gave me another room. . The wifi didn't work and it said there was a swimming pool but not in Casa Güela. I don't know if in the inns of the same group. You have to pick up the keys at the reception of another Posada (this is not a problem) . The decoration is great but a lot of furniture squeaks.

Located just on the edge of the pedestrian area, this charming guesthouse is a must-visit for those wanting to experience the true essence of Spain. Restaurants and bars are just a one-minute walk away, and the basic continental breakfast is excellent. All the rooms have a name and are decorated with old world charm, making for a very cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Thin walls may bring a bit of noise disruption from other rooms, but this is a minor issue that can be dealt with by requesting a quiet room or taking advantage of the quiet time regulation.

Nice breakfast. Close to the center of Santillana del Mar - you can reach bars and restaurants just in one minutes walk. All the rooms have a name and are charming. Actually, the hotel consists in an entire charming house with around 10 rooms. A lady comes at morning to make the breakfast (the reception is at a related hotel just a few meter down). The lady was very nice (we spoke in Spanish).
Our GPS didn't bring us at the parking easily - we had issues finding it because we first went through the (pedestrian) city before noticing that it can also be reached by car by doing a small turn around the city.

The surrounding countryside was beautiful and peaceful, offering a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The continental breakfast served was adequate and delicious. The staff made an effort to communicate with us in Spanish, and they were very friendly.
The walls were very thin, and we were able to hear a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms. Unfortunately, the beds in our room were uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep.

Had a wonderful Xmas stay at this hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of delicious pastries and freshly made coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on local attractions and restaurants. The hotel is located near the town square making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and historical sites. The view from the room was stunning and the bed was very comfortable.
The walls in the hotel were a bit thin, so it was sometimes noisy at night. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was weak in some parts of the hotel, making it difficult to stay connected.
